Ormond Beach community service officer rescues baby opossums

CSO Allison Davis was called to a residents home on Colonial Circle on Wednesday after receiving notice about the young marsupials.

An Ormond Beach community service officer rescued five baby opossums on Wednesday, April 10, Ormond Beach Police report.

CSO Allison Davis was called to a residents home on Colonial Circle around 8:30 a.m. where she found the baby opossums, whose mother had died. The marsupials were collected and transported to Samadhi Wildlife Inc., a nonprofit Florida wildlife rehabilitation center based in Ormond Beach.
