Avelo Airlines is renewing its nonstop service between Daytona Beach International Airport and Wilmington Airport in New Castle County, Delaware, the airline announced Tuesday.

Beginning Nov. 7, the airline will operate the route on Thursdays and Sundays, utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft, according to a press release. One-way fares from DAB to ILG start at $67.

“We’re excited to continue growth in Daytona Beach and bring back our nonstop route to Philadelphia," said Andrew Levy, Avelo Airlines founder and CEO, in the press release. "We’ve received hundreds and hundreds of requests for the return of this route — you asked, and we listened!"

Avelo also offers a nonstop service to Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport from DAB, and will offer a new service to Hartford, Connecticut, starting Nov. 8.

“This is more great news for our community and we are thrilled Avelo is resuming the Philadelphia/Wilmington flights," DAB Airport Director Karen Feaster said. "The Philadelphia region is one of our top 10 metropolitan markets for passengers flying in and out, and this flight was very popular with travelers."
