A weekend traffic stop led to Flagler County Sheriff's Office deputies confiscating over $22,000 in cash and more than 770 grams of marijuana.

Two Palm Coast 19-year-olds were arrested and have been charged with multiple drug possession charges, including marijuana possession with an intent to distribute. A FCSO deputy was patrolling at Lupi Court and Frontage Road at 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 3 when he saw a suspicious vehicle leaving from behind a closed business and pulled the car over, according to the suspects' arrest reports.

The deputy immediately smelled marijuana coming from the car, the report said, and saw "marijuana shake throughout the [car's] interior," according to a FCSO press release. A search of the car found multiple large bags of marijuana weighting over 770 grams, 11, one-ounce jars of hashish and $22,535 in cash.

The driver, Andrew Strutynsky, 19, and the passenger, Isabella Brown, 19, were both placed under arrest.
