Palm Coast plans multiple events to celebrate 25 anniversary

The occasion will be marked by special touches to the city's regular end-of-year events, with the main event being the Palm Coast 25th Anniversary Celebration on Oct. 26 at Town Center.

Palm Coast is celebrating its 25th anniversary as a city and to commemorate the milestone, the city is celebrating through a series of special events highlighting our community’s vibrant spirit and history. 

Incorporated in 1999, Palm Coast is one of Florida's youngest cities, a press release from Palm Coast said. To mark the anniversary, Palm Coast will be add special touches to its regular end-of-year events, including the Senior Games, the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Starlight Parade. 

These events will lead up to the main attraction, the Palm Coast 25th Anniversary Celebration on Oct. 26 at Town Center. The celebration will be an evening full of live music, delicious food, and fun activities for the whole family, the press release said. 

The celebration is free and open to the public, and all residents are encouraged to come out and commemorate the occasion.

“Celebrating our 25th anniversary is not just about looking back at the wonderful progress we’ve made but also about looking forward to a bright future together,” said Mayor David Alfin. “I invite all our residents to join us in these festivities and honor the community spirit that makes Palm Coast such a wonderful place to live."
