Three women have been arrested for breaking into a home on Cherry lane and shoving a pregnant woman over a missing cell phone.

Cassandra Wilkes, 20, of Bunnell and two juvenile girls have been arrested and charged. Wilkes has been charged with burglary with battery, violation of parole and aggravated battery of a pregnant person, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's Office press release.

On Nov. 30, the victim had woke up to make her young son a bottle when she heard a loud bang and the three women came into the home, according to Wilkes' arrest report. The three women kept asking the victim about a cell phone.

Wilkes punched the victim on her cheek. A man living in the home then came out to defend the victim and the three women left the home, the report said. Several other people living in the home on Cherry Lane saw the altercation and identified Wilkes, the report said.

One of the people in the home told deputies he was at a party with Wilkes and the two other females that night and gave them a ride back to Wilkes' vehicle when he realized they had left a phone in his truck. He drove to Wilkes' house and left the phone in the mailbox when he could not reach anyone inside the home, the report said.

Deputies found Wilkes at her home the next day, the press release said. She was placed under arrest.

The two teenaged females that were allegedly with Wilkes that night lived in the home with Wilkes. The 15-year-old and 17-year-old girls originally denied being with Wilkes during the incident, but later recanted their statements, the press release said.

The two teenagers have been charged with accessory after the fact to burglary with assault or battery and accessory after the fact to aggravated battery on a pregnant person, the press release said.
