Meet Baby, Blue Bell, Francine and Lily, this week's featured adoptable pets from the Flagler Humane Society.

Baby and Blue Bell are an inseparable bonded pair with twice the love and affection to share. Blue Bell, 6, is the life of the party. She adores belly rubs, gives the sweetest kisses, and is always ready for a treat. Blue Bell is smart, playful, and loves being around people and dogs alike.

Baby, 9, is the calm and steady counterpart to Blue Bell’s energy. He’s a mellow soul who radiates tranquility. Though shy at first, Baby blossoms with patience and rewards kindness with his unwavering loyalty and sweetness.

Both Baby and Blue Bell’s adoption fees have been generously sponsored. They were first found as strays in January 2021 and adopted later that year. They were returned to the shelter in December 2022 and have been waiting patiently for a new family. They are the Flagler Humane Society's longest residents.

Francine, 2, is known for her friendly nature. She is not only sweet but impressively smart. Her playful energy and love for fun are matched by her deep loyalty—once Francine forms a bond, it’s unshakable. Francine was found as a stray on Citation Boulevard in Seminole Woods in July. She was pregnant at the time, and gave birth to eleven puppies who were each adopted.

Lily is a sweet and serene young cat with a calm, affectionate demeanor that instantly puts everyone at ease. Her sociable nature shines as she effortlessly bonds with feline friends. Her striking calico markings make her as unique as her personality, and her gentle temperament is perfect for any home. Lily arrived at Flagler Humane Society on Nov. 9 after being transferred from an overcrowded shelter. She is currently at Pet Supermarket in Palm Coast.

The Flagler Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1 Shelter Drive in Palm Coast. Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.

Anyone who is interested in adopting or has questions about the process can contact the Flagler Humane Society at 386-445-1814 or apply online at flaglerhumanesociety.org.
