Meet Nuggie, Mouse and Raya, Flagler Humane Society's featured Pets of the Week.

Nuggie, 1, is an Akita mix full of youthful exuberance. This bundle of joy has lots of energy, always ready to play and explore. Nuggie's intelligence shines through in his curiosity about the world around him, and his loyalty is unparalleled. His playful nature extends to his canine companions, making him a great addition to a multi-dog household. Nuggie was found as a stray on Nov. 21.

Mouse, 4, is a female Rottweiler mix and a bundle of love, friendliness and sweetness. Her mellow nature makes her a perfect companion for those seeking a calm, gentle friend. Mouse's loyalty is second to none and she is also great with other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a home with existing pets. Her cuddly demeanor is a bonus, ensuring endless moments of warmth and affection. Mouse was found as a stray on Dec. 1.

Raya is a gorgeous 3-year-old tortoiseshell cat who is as charming as she is playful. Whether she’s rolling around for a cozy nap or showing off her playful side chasing laser lights, Raya’s spunky personality is sure to bring laughter and love into anyone's life. She came to the shelter on May 1, 2024, when her previous owner developed allergies.

The Flagler Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1 Shelter Drive in Palm Coast. Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.
