Palm Coast announces holiday office, parks and recreation hours

Palm Coast city offices will be closed Dec. 24-25 and again on Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day. The city's annual Christmas tree recycling program will also be held on Jan. 4.

For the holiday season, Palm Coast city offices will be closed Dec. 24-25 and again on Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.

Regular office hours will resume Dec. 26-31. The upcoming holidays will also impact some waste collection services. There will be waste collection services on Dec. 24 but not Dec. 25, and recycling collection will be moved to Dec. 28, a city press release said.

Yard waste service will also not be available on Jan. 1 and recycling will be moved to Jan. 4. Below are the operating hours for the city’s parks and recreation facilities on Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1:

Dec. 24:

  • Palm Coast Aquatics Center - CLOSED
  • Southern Recreation Center – CLOSED
  • Palm Coast Community Center – Open for Permits
  • Palm Harbor Golf Course - Modified hours (7 AM – 12 PM)

Dec. 25:

  • Palm Coast Aquatics Center - CLOSED
  • Southern Recreation Center - CLOSED
  • Palm Coast Community Center – CLOSED
  • Palm Harbor Golf Course – CLOSED

Dec. 31:

  • Palm Coast Aquatics Center - CLOSED
  • Southern Recreation Center - Modified hours (8 AM – 1 PM)
  • Palm Coast Community Center - Modified hours (Open until 6 PM)
  • Palm Harbor Golf Course – Open

Jan. 1:

  • Palm Coast Aquatics Center - CLOSED
  • Southern Recreation Center – CLOSED
  • Palm Coast Community Center – CLOSED
  • Palm Harbor Golf Course – Open

The 16th annual Christmas Tree Recycling event will be held on Jan. 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Palm Coast Fuel Depot at 22 Utility Drive, the press release said. Residents will be able to exchange their Christmas trees for a free three-gallon evergreen tree.

Residents should remove all decorations, lights, tinsel, and ornaments from trees before donation, the press release said.
