Salty Grass Band to perform at the Ormond Beach library in January

Formed in 2023, the Salty Grass Band plays traditional bluegrass, Americana standards and gospel music.

The Salty Grass Band, known for its traditional bluegrass, Americana standards and gospel music, will be performing in the Ormond Beach Library auditorium at 2 p.m. on Jan. 12, 2025.

This is a rescheduled performance from September, according to an announcement from the Friends of the Ormond Beach Library.

Formed in 2023, the Salty Grass Band has performed in local venues in Barberville, Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach. Bluegrass music is known for its high energy and Salty Grass brings this tradition to life with its talented musicians on guitar, bass, fiddle, banjo and mandolin.

"Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy an hour of foot tapping music that will transport you to the heart of Americana," the announcement states. 

The program, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Friends of the Ormond Beach Library.
