Meet Freja, Blue Bell, Turbo and Colita, Flagler Humane Society's featured Pets of the Week.
Freja, 7, is an affectionate, loving female who loves to be cuddled and kissed. She has been waiting at the shelter for her forever family since Dec. 31, 2022. Freja knows many commands, is housetrained and listens well.
Blue Bell, 5, is part of a bonded pair who were found as strays in Bunnell in 2021. Blue Bell and her bonded — Baby, a shepherd mix previously featured in Pets of the Week — should be adopted together. Both are sweet dogs who deserve loving homes.
Turbo is a 2-year-old male terrier who was found as a stray on Palm Coast Parkway by the library last September. He is treat-motived, which makes training easier, and is housetrained and knows some commands.
Colita, 6, is a friendly, loving female who does well with children. She has lived well with previously with another dog, but can be selective. She is house- and crate-trained and walks well on the leash. She was surrendered to the shelter in November.
The Flagler Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1 Shelter Drive in Palm Coast.
Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.
Anyone who is interested in adopting or has questions about the process can contact the Flagler Humane Society at 386-445-1814 or apply online at flaglerhumanesociety.org.
