Ormond Beach bookstore Fern & Fable will host a Charlotte’s Web reading at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 20 at its store at 51 W Granada Blvd.
The reading from the children’s book is part of The Peabody Auditorium Foundation’s upcoming presentation of TheaterWorksUSA’s family musical, Charlotte’s Web, to be held at the News-Journal Center, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 28.
Rayna Dunlop, owner of Fern & Fable Books, said she is “so excited to help bring such a treasured story to life for young readers!”
In fact, the “Fern” in the store’s name is in honor of the main human character in Charlotte's Web.
“The opportunity to help provide a multi-faceted Charlotte’s Web experience to children and their families is incredible and to collaborate with a local book store like Fern & Fable Books is absolutely fantastic," PAF President Rene Bell Adams said.
The PAF is presenting the musical as part of its Young Audience Series. For sponsorship information or to donate to the Young Audience Series and/or Youth+Art=Success! please go to peabodyfoundation.org or https://bit.ly/PAFYouth.
