Palm Coast Town Hall

When: 4 p.m.

Where: Southern Recreation Center, 1290 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast

Details: Attend this free town hall event with acting City Manager Lauren Johnston and Chief of Staff Jason DeLorenzo. The event will focus on the city budget process. Attendees are welcome to ask questions and discuss issues in an open forum. Complimentary coffee will be provided.

Summer classes for kids

When: 12-2 p.m.

Where: Art Among the Flowers, 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite A114, Palm Coast

Details: Looking for something fun for your kids to do this summer? Art Among the Flowers is offering classes for children ages 7-16. All classes will include a tour of the flower shop, exploring and learning about the different plants and flowers, and then hands-on learning a different technique with a professional instructor. Children also get to take their creations home. This class will teach them to design a dish garden with a variety of live plants in a decorative container. Class costs $25. July comedy dinner show

When: 6-8:30 p.m.

Where: Southern Recreation Center, 1290 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast

Details: Join Redefined Food Co. for its July comedy diner show featuring local comedian Doug Canney as the emcee and Johnny Mac as the headliner. Seating is limited to 52, with four at a table. Grand opening of the Taino Vive! exhibition

When: 6-10 p.m.

Where: African American Cultural Center and Museum, 4422 N. U.S. Highway 1, Palm Coast

Details: Attend the grand opening of the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition, "Taino Vive! Caribbean Indigenous Resistance," hosted by the African American Cultural Society. There will be refreshments, a cash bar and entertainment. The bilingual exhibition will be on display through Sept. 29.

Identity theft workshop

'42nd Street'

Details: Halifax Repertory Theatre presents, "42nd Street," a high-energy tap-filled show that transports audiences to the 1930s in New York City. Set against the backdrop of the Great Depression, the musical follows the journey of Peggy Sawyer, a young and talented dancer who dreams of making it big on Broadway. Pedal in the Park

When: 8 a.m.

Where: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE, Palm Coast

Details: Get up close and personal with Linear Park and Waterfront Park and learn about the local plants and wildlife. This ride, formerly known as Tour De Palm Coast, will start at the Palm Coast Community Center. Riders are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. Water bottle filling stations are available at the Community Center and water fountains are available at both parks. All riders must wear a helmet. Light refreshments will be served afterward. Watercolor workshop

When: 1-4 p.m.

Where: Ocean Art Gallery, 197 E. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach
