After former President Donald Trump was injured in a shooting at a Pennsylvania political rally, local Flagler Republican organizations are putting together a rally supporting Trump.

The local rally will be held on the Matanzas Bridge over Interstate 95 at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 14. Palm Coast Vice Mayor and Trump Club media spokesperson told the Observer that the Trump Club, the Republican Executive Committee and the Adorable Deplorables are coordinating the rally.

"It's our moment to show the world that Flagler County supports President Trump," Danko said. "This is Flagler County. This is Trump-country."

Trump was hosting is own rally for his presidential campaign in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13 when he was injured. According to an AP News article, as of 8:39 p.m. on July 13,  the shooting is being investigated as an attempted assassination attempt. Trump was seen with an injury to his ear, but is reportedly "fine," the article said.

Two people — shooter and one rally attendee — are dead and a second rally attendee has been taken to a local hospital in serious condition, the article said.

"It is going to take a lot more than this to stop President Trump from returning to the White House," Danko said. "Obviously, there are those folks out there that are afraid of Trump returning to the White House, and that's too bad. Because we are going to take America back."
