A 63-year-old Palm Coast man is in critical condition after he was hit by an SUV that was turning onto Palm Coast Parkway near Leanni Way on July 15.
At approximately 1:18 p.m., the SUV was at a stop sign and making a left-hand turn onto Palm Coast Parkway from a private driveway when the crash happened, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. The man, who was not at a crosswalk, ran across the road directly in front of the SUV as it was turning onto the road and was hit.
The man was airlifted to Halifax Hospital with critical injuries, the report said.
