Here is a sampling of comments with some of our stories on the Palm Coast Observer Facebook page:

On the Palm Coast City Council considering installing speed bumps on some residential roads.

Gayle Ford:

With many cars, the low profile tires and other types of vehicles, speed bumps improperly designed could cause residents damages, as at high schools. I for one have had to not drive one of my vehicles due to height of the bump. So I would hope we consider reducing speed limits and enforcement of such.

On the Council considering expanding the color palette for home exteriors.

Zsolt Paul Golenya:

So I guess the gorgeous "Rainbow Row" in beautiful Charleston would be considered "unfit" by the PC color police!

On Flagler Beach looking to decrease height for building exceptions.

Vincent Ciolino:

Additional outdoor space, increased property value, better views all sound good to me.

On Flagler Palm Coast High School's David Halliday being a finalist for the boys track and field National Coach of the Year award.

John Gilvary:

My family and I have been blessed to have had Coach in our lives for the past 4 years. He’s been a positive role model, a mentor and a leader for both of my sons in cross country and track. Regardless the results of the awards he’ll always be #1 in the hearts of my sons and our family.
