Meet Alvin, Magnolia, Pop and Cody, this week's featured adoptable pets from the Flagler Humane Society.
Alvin, 11, is a male orange and white cat with a gentle demeanor and mellow nature, making him a comforting companion. Despite his age, Alvin is full of life, greeting everyone he meets with a friendly purr. He thrives in the company of others, both human and feline. He's the perfect cat for someone looking for a calm, affectionate friend. Alvin was found as a stray on April 23.
Magnolia, 10, is a female long-haired tortoiseshell cat with a friendly, gentle nature. She offers comfort and companionship to everyone she meets, and gets along great with other cats as well. Magnolia's serene demeanor and friendly disposition make her an ideal addition to any family.
Magnolia was underweight when she was found as a stray on April 3. She being treated for anemia, but she is gaining weight and doing better.
Pop, 1, is a male terrier mix who has a friendly and sweet nature. Pop's curiosity is as boundless as his playfulness, making every day an adventure. Despite his energetic personality, Pop is great with new people and other dogs. Pop was surrendered to the shelter on March 30 because of his resource guarding.
Cody, 1, is a Labrador Retriever mix who is friendly, sweet and curious. He has a goofy and playful nature but is also quick to pick up on new commands. Cody is fantastic with new people, making friends wherever he goes. He's equally sociable with other dogs, always ready for a friendly romp. Cody was found as a stray on April 21.
The Flagler Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1 Shelter Drive in Palm Coast. Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.
