Palm Coast hosted its fourth annual Touch-A-Truck event on May 11, taking over Town Center with over 75 service vehicles from across the county.
The family-friendly event lasted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a designated "horn free" hour from 10-11 a.m. Multiple emergency vehicles from the Palm Coast Fire Department, Flagler County Fire Rescue and the Flagler County Sheriff's Office were present, including the Fire Flight helicopter, fire trucks, a SWAT armored vehicles and an FCSO air boat.
Several city departments from Palm Coast also participated, as well as local businesses and organizations, like the East Flagler Mosquito Control District, which showed up with its own helicopter.
A new addition to the event this year included a pirate ship: the Seawolf Privateers, a nonprofit that raises money to help foster and displaced children, show cased its infamous parade float pirate ship, allowing the children in attendance to take the helm.
