Meet Dagur, Rudy and Meme, this week's featured adoptable pets.
Dagur, 6, is a male pointer mix with a personality as sweet as honey. He’s a friendly dog who enjoys a good cuddle. His mellow demeanor makes him the perfect companion for quiet evenings at home. Dagur was surrendered on May 13 because his previous owners had a lifestyle change.
Rudy, 1, is a sweet, male Labrador retriever mix who is a joy to be around. Rudy is smart and quickly picks up on commands and tricks. He loves to cuddle, has a contagious, playful spirit and spreads smiles to everyone he meets. Rudy is also great with other dogs and was surrendered to the shelter on May 6.
Meme, 11, is a female calico. She is at the Petco in Palm Coast and up for adoption. Meme is a charming senior feline with a mellow and sweet disposition. She makes the perfect companion for anyone seeking a peaceful, affectionate friend. She is shy, but enjoys cuddling, doesn’t mind being held and is friendly with other cats. Meme was surrendered on May 10 because her previous owners had too many animals.
The Flagler Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1 Shelter Drive in Palm Coast. Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.
