Flagler Schools will be closed Wednesday through Friday

Outdoor activities will be canceled beginning Tuesday, however Extended Day will be open Tuesday.

In anticipation of the potential impact of Hurricane Milton, Flagler Schools will be closing schools and offices from Wednesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 11.

Outdoor activities will be canceled Tuesday. However, Extended Day will be open on Tuesday. All activities will be canceled Wednesday and Thursday. A decision on Friday's activities will be determined.

Flagler Schools will continue to monitor the storm and work closely with emergency management officials. Residents can visit the district's website, follow Flagler Schools' social media channels and monitor local news outlets to stay updated.

The school district will communicate further decisions directly with families and the community as soon as possible.
