Third annual pop-up pumpkin patch

Comedy dinner show

42nd annual Arts and Crafts Fair

When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12; and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13

Where: Prince of Peace Church Social Hall, 600 S. Nova Road, Ormond Beach

Details: Attend the Prince of Peace Council of Catholic Women’s 42nd annual Arts and Crafts Fair, which will feature over 40 tables exhibiting art and handcrafted items. There will also be a silent auction, baskets and a raffle. Food and refreshments available for purchase.


Storybook Village

Where: Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens, 78 E. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach

Details: Storybook Village is a free family-friendly event celebrating the joy of reading. Children's author Laura Numeroff will be honored through activities, book giveaways and more. Dress up as your favorite child-friendly book character and enjoy free face painting, a scavenger hunt and a live performance of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie."

History of the Ku Klux Klan in Florida

When: 9:30-11 a.m.

Where: Anderson-Price Memorial Building, 42 N. Beach St., Ormond Beach

Details: Michael Butler, professor of history at Flagler College, will provide a brief historical overview of the growth and evolution of the Ku Klux Klan in Florida, from Reconstruction through the 21st century. Free program.

Corvette's Coast to Coast 2024

When: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Flagler County Government Building, 1769 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell

Details: The Flagler County Corvette Club presents this car show. Limited to the first 150 cars. There will be music, door prizes, food trucks and raffles. Pre-registration costs $35; $40 on the day of the show.

Monday, Oct. 14

The Garden Club at Palm Coast monthly meeting

When: 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Club 51 Social Club, 51 Old Kings Road N., Palm Coast

Details: The Garden Club at Palm Coast will hold its October meeting, featuring guest speakers Mark and Christian Robinson from Revival Gardening. They will discuss "Edible Landscaping and Soil Building Strategies." Mark is a Master Gardener volunteer in Orange County and co-owner, along with son Christian, of Revival Gardens. Visitors are welcome to preview the club one time. Get lunch at Club 51 at 11:30 a.m. The gathering starts at noon and the meeting will begin at 1 p.m. There will be raffle ticket drawings.

Flagler Tiger Bay Club October meeting

Ormond Beach Democratic Club meeting

Details: Attend the October meeting of the Ormond Beach Democratic Club. Social time and check-in will be from 6:30-7 p.m, after which the meeting will begin. The Italian Festival

Details: There will be food booths, entertainment, music, dancing, cooking demos, an Italian car show, spaghetti eating contest, children's activity center, grape stomp competition, artisans, crafters, art show, "Dunk-a-Dignitary" and more. Cruisin' the Hill car show

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Holly Hill City Hall, 1065 Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach

Details: Attend the eighth annual 2024 Cruisin' the Hill Car Show at Holly Hill City Hall. Vehicle entry fee is $10. Free admission for spectators. There will be awards, live music, a 50/50 raffle and food. All proceeds benefit Holly Hill School and UBIC Academy for teacher and student supplies.

Art in the Park

The Chiles Academy's annual homecoming carnival
