Ormond Beach Commissioner Travis Sargent said Pimentel "provided updates and listened to our concerns."

As of 2 p.m. Saturday, 49,710 FPL customers in Volusia County still had no power, according to a county press release.

Sargent said the company is working hard to restore power to those residents.

Sargent said residents "should see progress today."

Residents needing information or to report an outage can call FPL at 800-468-8243.

Residents can also call Volusia County's Citizens Information Center at 866-345-0345 until 5 p.m. Saturday for storm-related questions.
