On Oct. 30 and 31, the Palm Coast Fire Department's 23rd annual Hall of Terror returns to Palm Coast with its new theme: 'Greatest Slashers.'

The free haunted house event will incorporate some of the horror genres biggest icons over the last 50 years, a city press release said. The 2023 event set a new attendance record of nearly 5,000 visitors over its two-day showing, and the 2024 event is expected to draw even more.

The Hall of Terror is held from 7-10 p.m. at Palm Coast Fire Station 21, located at 9 Corporate Drive. Parking is available in the lot located next to the firehouse on Corporate Drive, with additional parking in the nearby Kohl’s parking lot, the press release said.

New for 2024, the PCFD is including food trucks in the celebrations. On Oct. 30, both Kona Ice and the Wandering Hoagie will be onsite, while Cool Beans BBQ and Sheila's Funnel Cakes will be there on Oct. 31.

The event is open to all ages; adult supervision is recommended for attendees under 13. The Hall of Terror will feature strobe lights, fog, and other special effects.

Those with epilepsy or sensory sensitivities are invited to attend a special sensory-friendly walkthrough of the Hall of Terror from 6-7 p.m. on both nights of the event, the press release said.
