Palm Coast’s regular waste hauler will resume collecting loose debris beginning Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Storm debris contractors began removing debris from Hurricane Milton on Oct. 25, two weeks after the hurricane passed through Florida.  The high volume of debris throughout the state from both Hurricanes Helene and Milton led to a temporary delay as haulers worked to address widespread needs, a city press release said.

“We appreciate residents’ patience and understanding as we coordinated these essential services,” the press release said.

On Oct. 30, FCC Environmental Services will begin hauling loose debris again to help expedite the process. FCC will remove loose debris of up to 2 cubic yards per residence, and all debris should remain in the right of way to ensure it is not missed during the contractor’s route, the press release said.
