The Seabreeze Sandcrabs arrived at the Boardwalk Bowl Entertainment Center in Orlando on Wednesday, Oct. 29, as the District 1 boys bowling champions and rolled out as the state champions after defeating Leesburg in their final match on Thursday, Oct. 31.
After losing the first two games in the championship Baker match, the Sandcrabs rebounded and won the remaining three to beat Leesburg 3-2 and take the trophy.
Number five bowler Dalton Boice wrapped up the win in the final frame with a spare and a strike as Seabreeze finished the game with a 204 over Leesburg's 200.
