2025 MedNexus Innovation Challenge

Details: The University of North Florida, the City of Palm Coast and Flagler County Schools are hosting the 2025 AdventHealth Innovation Challenge, a team-based competition showcasing regional high school students pitching their solutions to Florida’s evolving healthcare needs. The fourth annual UNF MedNexus Innovation Challenge is themed "Becoming a Health Influencer." 

'Little Shop of Horror'

17th annual Turtle Fest

When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Veterans Park, 101 N. Ocean Shore Blvd. Flagler Beach

Details: This is the primary fundraiser for the Volusia & Flagler Turtles Patrols. Activities include face painting, turtle races and live music. There will also be vendors and food and beverages for sale. If possible, there will be a turtle release on the beach in the mid-afternoon. Free event.

12th annual Spring Festival and Plant Sale

When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Flagler Palm Coast High School, 5500 E. Highway 100, Palm Coast

Details: The Garden Club at Palm Coast is presenting this festival, located in the FPC High School gym. There will be music, kid's activities, food trucks, vendor booths and crafts, raffles and plants for sale. Free admission and free parking.

Duck Fest

When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Tomoka Outpost, 2099 N. Beach St., Ormond Beach

Details: Take part in the 12th annual Duck Fest, benefitting the Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia. Tickets cost $5. In addition to a duck race, there will be a relay race on duck floats, a kids zone, duck toss competition, a dunk tank and more. Visit https://elcfv.org/duckfest.

Game Day 'Fun Raiser'

Details: The Ormond Beach Lions Club is having Game Day, a "fun raiser." Come alone or with a group. Play their games or bring your favorite. There will be sandwiches, snacks, beverages and desserts. Costs $15 per person. There will also be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.

Ormond Art Walk

Pancake breakfast

When: 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where: St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church social hall, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach

Details: The Knights of Columbus Council 13018 is sponsoring a pancake breakfast. Enjoy scrambled eggs, sausage, and all the pancakes you can eat, along with coffee and orange juice. Breakfast costs $6, and kids under 12 eat free. All are welcome.

Spring Concert — Daytona Beach Choral Society

When: 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church, 105 Amsden Road, Ormond Beach

Details: A choral celebration of poetic lyrics and iconic melodies featuring "Imagine," "Everyday People," "Make Your Own Kind of Music," "Sweet Child O' Mine," and more. A $10 donation is requested.

Halifax Health Educational Series

Details: Halifax Health educator Annette Tracy, a registered nurse, will discuss symptoms, causes and treatments for Parkinson’s Disease. Free event.

Palm Coast Astronomy Club

When: 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Where: Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Parkway NW, Palm Coast

Details: The Palm Coast Astronomy Club will hold its next meeting at the library. The meeting's topic will be "Celebrating 20 years of the Palm Coast Astronomy Club." Everyone interested in astronomy is welcome. The meeting room is located to the right after entering the library.

Flagler County Fair and Youth Show

When: Monday to Friday, April 7-11

Where: Flagler County Fairgrounds, 150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell

Details: Attend this annual exposition presented by 4-H and FFA Livestock. Free admission.The pullet and rabbit show will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 7. The Livestock check-in is 3-6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8. The wether, heifer and steer show is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9. The swine show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10. Watercolor workshop

When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Ocean Art Gallery, 197 E. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach

Film screening

When: 6-8 p.m.

Where: Southeast Museum of Photography, 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach

Details: See "Art and Craft," a film about legendary art forger Mark Landis, who has been called one of the most prolific art forgers in U.S. history. His body of work spans 30 years, covering a wide range of painting styles and periods that includes 15th Century icons, Picasso, and even Walt Disney. This film screening will also feature a guest speaker, David Swoyer, who has worked as an art historian, curator of art, assistant director, and design consultant for various national and international museums. He is a published author as well as an artist, whose works have been displayed in numerous exhibitions. This film is free and open to the public, located in the Madorsky theater here at the museum.

The Edwards Twins

Details: The Edwards Twins are celebrating 37 years as Vegas impersonators and impressionists. Halifax Genealogical Society Presentation

When: 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Details: Miles and Angela Meyer of OurAncestries Genealogy will discuss what DNA is; why you should do DNA research; the differences among autosomal, mitochondrial, and Y-DNA; and when it is appropriate to use each in your family history research. They will also share the various tools that are available through different companies.

Big, Beautiful Birds of the Loop

Fashion show

The Dallas String Quartet: Strings Unleashed

Details: The Dallas String Quartet performs a fusion of contemporary classical and pop music and has been compared to artists like like Lindsey Stirling, Vitamin String Quartet, Brooklyn Duo and 2Cellos. 29th annual Spring Classic Tournament

When: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m,

Where: Herschel King Park, 1000 Grady Prather Jr. Cove, Palm Coast

Details: Flagler Sportfishing Club is hosting its annual spring classic tournament, benefiting Disabled American Veterans. There is a mandatory captains meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 11. The tournament check-out will take place from 7-8 a.m. and weigh-ins from 3:30-5 p.m. Entry fee is $95 per angler and includes one raffle ticket. Visit flaglersportfishingclub.com.

Pyramid Players Golf Tournament

When: 8 a.m.

Where: Pine Lakes Golf Club, 400 Pine Lakes Parkway, Palm Coast

Details: The African American Cultural Society, Inc. is inviting golf enthusiasts to participate in this tournament. Entry fee costs $100 per player, or $400 per foursome. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Hole sponsorships are $50. Participants will receive goodie bags and may purchase a $20 game day pass for Mulligans, raffle tickets and a forward tee advantage. Prizes will be awarded. Easter Party and Egg Hunt

When: 10 a.m.

Where: Tomoka United Methodist Church, 1000 Old Tomoka Road, Ormond Beach

Details: Tomoka United Methodist Church will host its Easter Party and Egg Hunt. This event is free for children in preschool through fifth grade. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Activities will include a snack, storytime, games, coloring tables, a visit by the Easter Bunny with photo opportunities and an Easter egg hunt. Children will be divided into three age groups for the egg hunt. 

Flagler-Palm Coast Housing Fair

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE, Palm Coast

Details: Housing officials from throughout Flagler County are hosting the annual Flagler-Palm Coast Housing Fair, “The Act in Action," in conjunction with National Fair Housing Month. The event will be led by the Mid Florida Housing Partnership. There will be exhibitors, workshops and local assistance programs.

14th annual Ormond Beach Celtic Festival

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13

Where: The Casements, 25 Riverside Drive, Ormond Beach

Details: Saturate your senses in the sights, sounds and tastes of Celtic heritage at Ormond MainStreet's Celtic Festival, which is returning to Ormond's two downtown parks along the Halifax River. There will be live music, Highland Games, clans and Celtic societies. Admission costs $12 each day for adults in advance; $15 at the festival gate. Children 12 and under are free. Egg'Stravaganza

Details: The City of Palm Coast invites residents and visitors to its annual Egg’Stravaganza. There will be arts and crafts, face painting, carnival games, and more. The Easter Bunny will be available for photo opportunities, and there will be booths from local businesses and organizations where children can earn Easter eggs. 

Low-cost pet shot clinic

When: 9:30-11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
