Local arts, culture or history nonprofits have a second opportunity to apply for grant funding from the Flagler County Cultural Council this fiscal year.

The grants are funded by Palm Coast and administered by the FC3 and are to support events and programs taking place in Palm Coast between now and September, a FC3 press release said. Applications opened on March 28 and are available online at www.flaglerartsandculture.org/granting-program until April 30. The website also has a list of application guidelines for qualifying nonprofit organizations.

The grants are meant to foster creativity and provide value to artists and audiences alike, the press release said. The first round of grants drew 13 applicants and 11 grants were awarded by Palm Coast on March 18, totaling $89,904, leaving $10,906 available for the second round of grant applications.

“We hope those not-for-profit organizations who meet the criteria set forth in the guidelines will have an opportunity to apply for these remaining funds," said Flagler County Cultural Council Chair Nancy Crouch. "We want our community partners to have successful programs and events. Their success is our success. We strive for a vibrant cultural community for our residents and visitors.”
