The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has arrested five people who detectives say were involved in drug activity out of their home in the first block of Woodhollow Lane in Palm Coast.
The FCSO Special Investigations Units and SWAT team responded to the home in the early morning of on Feb. 4. The home was placed on the sheriff's "high-interest target list" due to numerous community complaints regarding suspected drug activity, disturbances and suspicious persons, according to a press release. The search warrant served was the result of a three-month investigation into drug activity at the house.
Deputies arrested 19-year-old Brittany Cowart, 42-year-old Franklin Crawley Jr., 31-year-old Christopher Distefano, 22-year-old Bridgett Dubena and 22-year-old Josiah Feimster. During the search, detectives seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and other controlled substances.
Dubena and Feimster are being held without bond.
“I want to thank the community members who ‘saw something and said something’, putting this smorgasbord drug house on our radar and helping us shut it down,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said in the press release. “Poison peddlers and drug users may think they are being discreet, but their drug activity never goes unnoticed, and it is only a matter of time before our SWAT team and SIU arrives to shut down their business and put them in the Green Roof Inn.”
