With great love and sadness, we announce the passing of Cathy Campbell, who left this world on February 2, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on September 13,1950 in New Haven, CT, Cathy was the beloved wife of William Campbell, with whom she shared many wonderful years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Stewart Dingwell and Albert Lee; her brother, David (Gail) Lee; her grandfather, Harold Stewart; and her nephews, Robert Eksten and Scott Looney. She is survived by her children, Emma (Ed) Bailey and grandson Gus and Graham (Angie) Moore and granddaughters Hailey and Kelsie. She is also survived by sister, Bonnie Eksten, and niece, Beth Looney, as well as other cherished nieces, nephews who will carry on her memory. After retiring from a career in sales with AT&T, she retired to Florida. She found peace by the ocean, spending many hours at the beach where the water, sand and dolphin sightings always felt like home. Her love for marine life led her to volunteer at Marineland for many years. Beyond the water, Cathy felt happiest on horseback, a passion she carried since childhood. She also had a deep appreciation for local farms and fresh produce, often seeking out the best fruits and vegetables straight from the source. She valued the simple joys of life—whether it was walking at the beach, zipping around in her golf cart, sharing a conversation with a friend or watching a Yankees game with Bill.

Cathy had strong friendships and formed deep bonds with Carolyn and Tommy Walters, Susan and Alex Tredinnick, Debbie Dinello, and many others in Connecticut and Palm Coast. She had a gift for bringing people together, always offering warmth, home-cooked meals, themed parties and laughter.

Her presence will be missed, but her spirit lives on in the waves, the open fields, and in the warmth of a summer day when the veggies are ready to be picked. A celebration of Cathy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Marineland or a local conservation organization, honoring her lifelong dedication to preserving the natural beauty she so deeply loved. The family of Mrs. Campbell entrusted her arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
