Jenalys Alice McCorkle Hardy passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at the age of 100 in Palm Coast, Florida. She was born on June 20, 1924, in Oak Hill, Ohio.
Jenalys was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Cyrus “Cy” Hardy; her parents, Carl and Ethel McCorkle; and her siblings Marge, Blod, Homer, Gilda, Glenna, Rod, Olen, and Don.
She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jeffery Hardy, John Hardy (Amber), Sarah Hardy-Osburn (Oz), and Matthew Hardy; her great-grandchildren Lily Hardy, Ashlynn Hardy, Brooklyn Hardy, Elizabeth Osburn, and Eleanor Osburn; as well as her siblings Bae McCorkle, Conard McCorkle, Paul McCorkle, and Marty McCorkle.
Jenalys will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.
May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
