Mary Ann (Erickson) Raymond 83, of Palm Coast FL, wife of the late Lyle R. Raymond passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She was born in Hartford CT on December 19, 1941 daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Hendrickson) Erickson.

Mary Ann, formerly from Killington, VT has been a resident here for over 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was heavily engaged in her Church, St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church, helping in whatever way she could. She enjoyed spending time listening to the many stories of her grandchildren Liam and Logan Lord as she imparted wisdom into their existence. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends during holiday gatherings. However, Mary Ann enjoyed her alone time to organize and send thoughtful cards to fellow parishioners and family. She has always been a family first person, which to her went well beyond bloodlines. Pastor Vince Iocona and his wife Cindy were two of her most favorite people. In her last hours, Pastor Iocona was there to deliver her last rites which will forever be appreciated by the family.

Mary Ann passed 7 years and 2 days after her sister and best friend Carol MacDonald in the same caring facility. Both of these wonderful women left this world on their own terms. She is survived by her 4 children; Holly Ann Lord of Palm Coast FL, John Heino (and Lisa) of Newport RI, Mark Raymond (and Bev) of Bedford MA, and Zoe Raymond (and Jack) of Brandon VT. 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. As well as 3 daughter-like nieces and 2 nephews and many friends.

A memorial service celebrating Mary Ann’s life will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church, 303 Palm Coast Parkway NE Palm Coast FL, 32137.  A luncheon will follow the service in the fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church.
