Stephen R. Fedak, 84, of Palm Coast passed away on February 4, 2025. He was born on January 31, 1941 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Stephen attended Fairfield Prep where he made lifelong friends and had an admiration for the Jesuits. He worked for several years as a baker for Nancy Lynn Bakeries.
Stephen and Lorraine met at CYO at St. Stephens Church as teenagers. They married on June 2, 1962 - also at St. Stephens Church.
While raising a family and building a career in the electronics industry as a Plant Manager Stephen attended Norwalk State Technical College earning a AS in Electrical Engineering, a BA in Operations Management and a MBA in Computer Science at the University of New Haven.
In 2003 Stephen and Lorraine relocated to Palm Coast and enjoyed “Paradise”. Stephen was an avid reader of Westerns and History. He enjoyed golf and travelling.
Stephen was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Mary (Valus) Fedak, his sisters Francis Mangiacopra and Barbara Hornik. He is survived by his wife Lorraine of 62 years, his brother Gregory Fedak, children, Douglas Fedak
(Daniel), Renee Comolli (Joseph), Mary Schrum (Matthew), grandchildren Derek Woodin, Aidan Autero (Emily) and great grandchild Addison Avery Autero.
Stephen spent the last 14 months of his life at Brookdale Palm Coast Assisted Living, where he enjoyed the many activities and especially the live music. Our family will be ever grateful for the home away from home provided at Brookdale.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164 on June 2, 2025 at 11:00 am with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 in the church memorial room.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to the Dementia Society of America.
The family of Mr. Fedak have entrusted arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations, 39 Old Kings Rd., N., Palm Coast, FL 32137.
