Volusia County will introduce an appointment system for those requiring in-person assistance to register their vehicles for the ParkVolusia program starting Monday, Feb. 24.
However, residents are encouraged to obtain their annual ParkVolusia permits online if they have the capability, as it usually takes less than 10 minutes. To date, nearly 80,000 permits have been successfully issued, with over 80% of these registrations completed through the online portal.
This new appointment-based structure for those who cannot complete registration online is designed to streamline the in-person process, eliminate wait times, and enhance the customer experience at the two ParkVolusia offices located at 2422 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach Shores, and 302 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach. To ensure efficient and personalized service, it is recommended that those requiring in-person assistance schedule an appointment by calling ParkVolusia's customer service number at 386-217-0078. Walk-ins are still welcome and will be accommodated as availability permits. Residents may begin making appointments beginning today for services starting next week.
Registering online is not only quick but also simple, requiring minimal documentation. This method proves to be not only efficient but also preferable for the overwhelming majority of residents. Annual permits are available online, providing a convenient option for obtaining one without the need to visit an office. While documentation requirements are listed on the program's website, those who have questions about what documents need to be uploaded can contact customer service for guidance. While representatives can provide information on required documents, they cannot process registrations over the phone.
