Letter: Tax EVs, hybrids to replace property tax

Dear Editor:

In response to Mr. Hannoush about the removal of property taxes, I ask where will the lost tax revenue come from? I can recommend one untaxed source. How about we start taxing electric cars and Hybrids?

Florida doesn't currently charge a tax for EVs and Hybrids for the use of Florida roads. $200 to $300 per a year is a good start.

Any other suggestions?
