First Baptist Christian Academy hung two new banners honoring the school's first girls volleyball district championship.

The Crusaders finished the 2024 season with a 13-7 overall record and 7-1 in District 5-1A. They beat Deltona Trinity Christian 3-1 on Oct. 17 in the district tournament championship game to win their first district title and clinch a playoff bid.

FBCA unveiled the new banners on Dec. 19 in the First Baptist Church of Palm Coast gymnasium honoring the school's historic achievement. One banner honors 2024 as the school's first district girls volleyball championship season with room for future titles. The other lists each member of the 2024 title-winning team.
