Possession of drugs. A 56-year-old Bunnell man admitted to deputies that he smoked cocaine, and said it wasn't a "big deal" after he was detained during a traffic stop.
Deputies reported that the traffic stop was initiated due to a broken taillight, as well as because the vehicle's driver failed to move to the right lane as a faster vehicle approached from behind. That faster vehicle was the arresting deputy's unmarked patrol car.
The man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was not wearing a seat belt, which lead the deputy to ask for his ID, according to his arrest report. The deputy discovered he was not registered as a career offender, and while searching the man, the deputy discovered a plastic bag of synthetic cathinones, also known as bath salts, weighing under a gram.
He was taken to jail.

Driving without a license. Deputies arrested a 23-year-old Bunnell man who was reportedly running an errand to a local big box store to purchase sweat pants for himself and his grandmother.
According to the man's arrest report, deputies spotted the man driving 10 miles over the posted speed limit, as well as rolling through a stop sign, leading to a traffic stop. When asked for his driver's license, the man told deputies that he "already knew he was going to jail" and that he didn't have a valid license, the report states, and informed them of his errand run.
During a search of his vehicle, deputies also found 17 grams of marijuana as well as a firearm, which led to an additional charge since he had been convicted of a felony as a juvenile.
He was taken to jail.
