John Phillips named president of Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber

Phillips was formerly the athletic director at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

John Phillips has been named the new president of the Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber of Commerce following an extensive interview and vetting process, according to a Chamer press release.

Howard Holley had served as interim president and CEO for the past five months. According to the press release, Holley established key initiatives such as the Economic Vitality Partner and Business & Entrepreneur Council Membership groups, new governance processes and a communications task force.

Phillips previously worked in the athletic department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for 27 years, the last 10 as the schools athletic director. He most recently served as CEO of Pictona at Holly Hill.  

“John Phillips is the right leader at the right time for the Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber,” said Chamber Chair Michael Chiumento. “His expertise, vision and passion for economic development will drive the Chamber to new heights. With the strong foundation set by Howard Holley, we are confident that John will successfully lead initiatives that support our business community and foster economic prosperity in Flagler County.”
