Flagler Palm Coast's girls lacrosse team wins on Senior Night

The Bulldogs honored five seniors before defeating Atlantic Coast 17-12 in their final home game.

Flagler Palm Coast celebrated girls lacrosse Senior Night with a 17-12 victory against Jacksonville Atlantic Coast on March 27.

The Bulldogs honored seniors Alana Throne, Nichole Dickinson, Jaena Srivastava, Carly Griffin and Ashley McPhail before the game.

Griffin scored nine goals against Atlantic Coast to give her 27 on the season. Throne added two goals to give her 20 for the season. Sophomores Brianna Long and Sofia Fretterd also scored two goals. Long also gathered in 11 ground balls and had nine draw controls.

Trinity Johnson leads the Bulldogs (5-6) with 29 goals. Fretterd is tied with Throne for third on the team with 20 goals.

The Bulldogs' final two regular-season games are on the road against Nease on April 2 and St. Joseph on April 4. The District 4-2A tournament is scheduled to begin on April 9.
