Every morning, I get up, get dressed, take my water bottle from the fridge, and I get in the car to leave for my class. I never forget the water bottle — it's part of my routine.
Similarly, I go to a networking group every Thursday. I hear the same business owners every week, reminding me of their services, and what makes them unique. I can list off what they do — it's part of my routine.
So that got me thinking about the power of newspaper advertising. Every week, thousands of people in this community pick up the print edition of the Observer from a newsstand, or get it on their driveway, or, increasingly, they get it delivered to their mailbox. They read the top headlines, they look for people they know, they do the crossword, and they look at dozens of ads from local businesses — it's part of their routine.
That leads to this question: Of all the real estate agents in our community, which ones are most likely to be top of mind? (Or which plumber, home builder, assisted living facility, etc.) The companies that insert themselves into the routines of the people in our community are impossible to forget. And one of the most powerful ways to do that is to show up every week on the pages of the Observer.
