Breast cancer survivor Nancy Gibbs held her first breast cancer awareness fundraising event Oct. 10, at the Hilton Garden Inn. 'Hope is a wonderful thing,' she said. 'For someone like myself, who has gone through it, this gives me hope. What we did tonight means that hopefully someone will catch it early or they will go in and be screened and be cleared.'
