Elementary school children were scattered throughout the Belle Terre Crossing's Publix Feb. 19 and 20. Clipboards and pencils in hand, they calculated the price of an individual juice box and weighed two bunches of bananas. The occasion was the annual Belle Terre Elementary School math night, which aims to connect math to the real world.
